Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
Arctic Fox, neon moon and cosmic sunshine. Cosmic sunshine was a bit too orange for my taste, so I mixed it with a lighter colour to get the yellow I wanted. Arctic Fox is my go to, so I picked it.
How does this hair colour make you feel?
This hair colour washed me out a bit, since it is similar to my skin tone. It also did not work out that well, so I dyed it orange straight after. Since I had it for such a short amount of time I don't associate a feeling with it.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
I bleached my roots and tried a dye remover on my red hair before I applied yellow. The dye remover took little to nothing out and I ended up with yellow roots and orange tips, so I dyed the whole thing orange afterwards.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
Arctic Fox, because they do what they are supposed to do. They last, smell great, are cruelty-free and overall just great.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Do your research! I know most of us DIY dye our hair at home, but you can realllllly mess up your hair if you don't know anything about what you are doing. I spent a lot of time on the internet looking at videos (we all know Brad Mondo) and did research on what developer I needed and how to take care of my hair etc. There are tricks when it comes to applying the bleach or hair colour and you will find them all if you spent some time on the internet before impulsively dying your hair.
