I love Herman's dye because it has two big benefits, the colour doesn't fade quickly and also fades beautifully. With every colour I had so far, it fades as if it was meant to look that way. No washed out colour in my looks :)
How does this hair colour make you feel?
This was the first time I dyed my hair in a weird colour but I immediately fell in love with it. I loved walking around with bubblegum pink and I definitely consider going back to this colour after I'm done with purple. I kind of live and breathe pink (you can see my wallpaper in the background of picture 1). I loved it that I could always match my hair with my skirts, tops or shoes and this was my favourite colour so far.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
My hair was died red perminantly for ages but i wanted to try different things. I spent 6 (!) hours in the hair dresser's chair to go to blonde. I kept the blonde for a while just to let my hair rest and a couple of months later I bleached it to platinum blonde in order to dye it pink.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
Herman's amazing haircolour for every reason that I have already told you. It looks so much like the example picture and the colour remains beautiful after some washes.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
When you're not sure your colour will cover the remaining stains in your hair, wrap your head in plastic foil and blow dry it 10 minutes before washing it out. I usually leave my hair dye in for at least 2 hours, since it's not harmful for your hair.
