Herman's amazing haircolour: Marge Blue
I love Herman's dye because it has two big benefits, the colour doesn't fade quickly and also fades beautifully. With every colour I had so far, it fades as if it was meant to look that way. No washed out colour in my looks :)
How does this hair colour make you feel?
I really liked this blue colour because the light blue colour, which appeared after a few washes, was so beautiful! I could also pair it easily with pink clothes and lipstick. I thought it was a cool, bright colour and it made me happy
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
My hair colour before this was orange. Firstly I washed it out with Head & Shoulders anti dandruff shampoo and a hot water temperature. After that, I bleached my hair with a Kruidvat bleach kit (due to a mistake my mum made, I'd rather go to the hair dresser's). It was tough to get rid of the orange and it caused a few brown stains in my hair when I first dyed it blue. For the second try, I washed it thoroughly with Head & Shoulders again to make it porous, left the dye in for a longer time and blow dried it for 10 minutes to really make it crawl into my hair. After that, this was the result.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
Herman's amazing hair color is my favourite brand for every reason I have already given you. Especially because it always looks like the example picture and stays beautiful for a long time.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
When you're not sure your colour will cover the remaining stains in your hair (because even after bleaching, my hair still showed a light shade of the previous colour), wrap your head in plastic foil and blow dry it 10 minutes before washing it out. I usually leave my hair dye in for at least 2 hours, since it's not harmful for your hair.
